We guide tours with access to car campsites for closeness and comfort or we can backpack miles to wilderness sites for the more rugged adventure.

Individual Tours

Feel like getting away and going solo? We offer individual camping trips for one person for one night at over 20 campsites throughout NJ. Ask us for more info.

Group Tours

Looking for the perfect school trip? Do you have a church group or corporate team building event scheduled but no where to go? How about looking to have a fun family reunion in the wilderness?

NJ Adventure Tours can accommodate all of your needs with access to private cabins, lean to's and group sites all over NJ. You can choose to set up your own site or NJ Adventure Tours will pick up your gear prior to your outing and have everything ready upon your arrival. Ask us for more info.

Couples Tours

Make a first date or an anniversary a special one with an NJ Adventure Couples Tour. Arrive to a camp site on a scenic lake or river with a campfire burning, roses on the table and a private candle light dinner ready to impress him or her with a unique experience. Call ahead to add your very own ambiance to the tour with a private kayak or canoe tour for 2. Overnights and weekends available.


Family Tours

Looking for the perfect weekend getaway with your family? NJ Adventure Tours will guide your trip to some of the most fun filled campsites and attractions in NJ. Have your site setup prior to arrival or experience the fun of setting up a tent on your own. When you book a NJ Adventure Family Tour we can take care of all the groundwork so your family can go out and enjoy the day. We offer guided lake fishing from a boat along with this tour as well.

Singles Tours

This is a full weekend of camping. Look for special dates on the website for these events then sign up to reserve your spot for a weekend of meeting and greeting in the wilderness. Please contact us for more info if you would like to organize a speed dating event through us.

The Cardiac Tour

THIS TOUR IS NOT FOR THE WEAK! This is Wilderness/Remote Camping via a rugged 6 mile hike deep into the woods or a 9 mile mountain bike ride with steep rocky climbs for the first 3 miles. Choose a guided hike or ride with full support or take your own chances on your way to a truly "remote” experience. For this tour you have the option of leaving all your gear at the parking lot area and NJ Adventure Tours will have it at your site when you arrive. Please contact us for more details.

The Golden Years Tour

Take yourself back to the days of when you first met that special someone and began doing things together. With an NJ Adventure Golden Years Tour, couples 50+ can still enjoy a private secluded camping experience without the burden of a 6 mile wilderness hike. Building a spider/debris shelter and survival techniques

Tuesdays, Thursdays and weekends

Location: Camp Occawasin, West Milford

Learn what a spider shelter is and how it functions
Hands on lessons in building a debris shelter and what you need
Learn how to make a Dakota stove in your shelter
Basic functionality of an emergency blanket
